How
to Use PowerPoles
- Hold the PowerPoles
using the soft foam grips. Position the arms at a right angle,
making sure not to bend your wrist. Feet together, poles at
your side.
- Step forward with
your right foot. At the same time lift the left pole up and
place across from the right foot. Align the bottom of the pole
with the right arch.
- Step forward with
the left foot, push off (lightly) with the left PowerPole giving
yourself a push forward. Swing the right pole forward and place
across from the left foot, align with the arch.
- Continue walking,
alternating the PowerPoles naturally with your stride. Using
two poles are better than one. This creates a better rhythm,
maintains better balance and applies greater forward momentum.
